Elmer Lee "Bud" Biggs, 66, of 195 Nelson Hall Homes
died Monday at a Fort Smith hospital. He was a coal
miner with Athletic Mining and Smelter and a member
of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, No. 208.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Haven Heights
Baptist Church. Burial will be at McKendree Cemetery
(between) Subiaco (and Scranton, Logan Co, AR)
under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.

He is survived by two daughters, Jane McElhaney of Lavaca
and Crystal Lee of Sallisaw; five sons, Alva Lee, Larry Dale 
and Steven Dean, all of Fort Smith, Donald Ray of Barling
and Jerry Wayne of Rye Hill; his stepmother, Minnie Biggs of
Pine Bluff; four sisters, Wilma Young of Post Falls, ID, Cybil
Humphries of Garland City, Helen Robeson and Pat Merriet,
both of Pine Bluff, AR; three brothers, Carl Lee, Tommy and
Kenny, all of Pine Bluff, and 15 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bob Wright, Harley Vinsant, Elzie Allen,
Don Martin, Gary Autry and Wilson Wallace.

A memorial has been established with the 
American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends at 4109 S. Gary.
