Obituary
James C. Biggs, 74, of 6210 Dollarway Road, died
Wednesday at Jefferson Hospital. He was a retired
farmer.
A native of Chattanooga, TN, he was a son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Biggs. He attended schools in
Tennessee and Newport. He was engaged in farming
at Wabbaseka until his retirement eight years ago.
He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, the former Minnie Green
whom he married at Paris in 1933; five sons, Billy Joe
Biggs and Tommy Biggs, both of Pine Bluff, Bud Biggs of
Fort Smith, Carl Lee Biggs of Wabbaseka and Kenneth
Biggs with the Marine Corps in Okinawa; five daughters,
Mrs. Sybil Humphries of Garland, Mrs. Virginia Ramsey
of West Helena, Mrs. Helen Robinson of Wabbaseka,
Mrs. Ruth Graves and Mrs. Ruth Graves and Mrs. Pat
Merritt, both of Pine Bluff; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Coots
of Oak Ridge, TN; 28 grandchildren; and eight great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ralph Robinson
& Son Mortuary by Reverend Jay D. Tolleson. Burial will
be in Memorial Park Cemetery, (Pine Bluff, Jefferson Co, AR).
