Cemetery, 1880, Ooltewah, Hamilton Co, TN James Biggs is suppose to be buried in the Montgomery Cemetery but he  doesn't seem to have a headstone. 3. 1840 Census, Jefferson Co, TN #317 James Biggs appears with (2)m under 5; (2)m 5-10; (1)m 10-15; (2)m  20-30; (1)m 40-50; (2)f 5-10; (1)f 15-20; (1)f 40-50. Since only 11 of  the 13 children are noted on this census, we believe that Charles and  Georgia are either married or have died. 4. Military Service, Rev War While I have no documentation proving this, it has been said that James  Biggs received some land up "north" as the result of being enlisted in  the Revolutionary War. But he had to let it go back due to taxes.
